think about our players going against USC. They have a guy with a sword...they have a guy mounted on a horse looking over the players. We have herbie getting done at the local YMCA prancing around. No wonder our linemen cant block, they are hearing it from the other team. Damn it how much longer must this go on????

so i move that we dont worry about the coaches and the players but go after the real problem. I move we start a ThrowHerbieOut.com site and take care of this right now so that we can get back to nebraska dominence!!!!!!

USC has condoms names after them for christ sake! That is the ultimate in manly. I use Trojan XXL Magnums myself.

 
Lil' Red does suck!!!!! I don't think Herbie is that bad...............I wonder how the crowd would react if our mascot came out with the old Herbie suit on.

anybody here old enough to remember the mascots before herbie? i did some research and there has been a few. online i found an omaha world hereld article but the the pics would not come up to see them.

Anyone have ideas on a new mascot all together.

PS. i like lil red, he is funny as hell. besides where else can you see a mascot hump the ground before getting on his head in front of 85000 people??? the little exhibitionist!! Naughty lil red

 
Use to be Harry Husker but they forgot to get the patent and weren't getting any money off of merchandising.
