Ha, as I’m watching and enjoying the upset they announce that and all I can think is Nebraska must now be involved with ALL records of futility. I mean that game had nothing to do with us but then they point that out.....fml.

i don't expect us to win, but riley is truly a terrible coach if he doesn't cover the 24.5 points.

I see way too many deficiencies on our offensive and defensive lines and our back 7 as a whole. This is going to be Oregon Part II except the Buckeyes will keep their foot on the pedal. I want the Huskers to win, but I'm prepared for headlines with a picture of Riley saying, "WORST HOME LOSS IN SCHOOL HISTORY."

What would it take for this game to actually have that headline?  Anyone know?

No, that was Clemson. The Syracuse game was our 4th noncon in 84.

I know it is so unlikely it is ridiculous, but nobody here would have taken a bet that Syracuse beats Clemson followed by WSU losing by 34 to Cal last night  A team playing with high emotion at home can do special things.  Such a shame we are at a state where nobody thinks it is at all possible.  Not predicting a win, but rather saddened that we cant even be perceived as the spirited underdog with a puncher's chance.
