The Republican Utopia

If I remember correctly from my history of Modern Germany class, Krasnov was a Nazi collaborator and a traitor to the russians.  Interesting choice of code names.

So, let me get this straight.  Trump doesn't want to fund help to California because he claims it's their fault because they didn't manage the forests properly by not removing combustible debri.....then fires the people who would manage the forest by removing combustible debri.  Sounds logical.

Isn't that normal?

He feels the people DID NOT do their job, so he canned them.

I have no idea if they did or did not do their job but that is what he is saying, right?

They failed the “loyalty test” given to them, so now they are getting canned.
And that is probably 100% true and super freaking weird.

But, if they in fact "did not do their job" and are at all responsible for some of the fire damage, it seems like a logical reason to can them.  Right?

I worked for the park district years ago (in high school) and let me tell you, we wasted a lot of f#&%ing time driving around and looking at s#!t that we were supposed to pick up.

Your logic would be sound as long as “better” workers were hired to do that job “right”.  But they aren’t going to.

Yeah, if they are not filling the position it clearly won't get better.

The guy that took my spot when I left the Parks, well, I have no idea if he was a better worker or not.  He could not have been worse!!!

I worked for Nebraska State Games & Parks two summers. Our foreman was definitely fond of driving slow and going to nearby towns for breakfast, lunch and afternoon break. When he was promoted, we were able to talk the new guy into driving to a nearby lake to go water skiing.

At the end of the day, the Park itself was litter free, the bathrooms clean, the grass mowed, and the garbage removed. Also, none of us were paid very much. I'd say it worked out okay for the tax payers.

If you are sincerely curious about this executive order, Teach, compare it to the flood of other executive orders slashing jobs, projects and departments. None of it is tied to an actual performance review.

While I have no idea if it was tied to a review my guess is that it was not and it was just an easy way to can people.

Also, I love that you got to go water skiing during work!
