The Republican Utopia

that non answer isn't reassuring.    between Trump and D.U.I. hire  Kegbreath i assume no one has thought about it.

Journalist: What is Trump doing to ensure that an internal drone attack, similar to the SBU’s special operation, does not happen in the U.S.? White House Press Secretary: "The United States has the most lethal fighting force in the world. The American armed forces are the best and the largest."

Not sure I understand this (paywall prevented the entire article).

Is Pradheep saying he agrees that Harvey Milk was a Patriot and the ship shouldn't be renamed? Or is he gleefully blaming progressives for a world where conservatives get their revenge by doing things Pradheep thinks shouldn't be done?

I guess he's saying that since runaway progressive ideology opened the uber scary pandora's box of renaming things (which, specifically with reference to Washington/Jefferson, I *think* he's just referencing one specific instance one time in SF when 44 schools got renamed?), it's really the libs' fault that right wingers are now doing the same thing but dumber.

Maybe. But the libtards in San Francisco held the line against the progtards and like most of the country they allowed the Washington, Lincoln and Jefferson names to stand. The renaming centered mostly on historical figures who actively slaughtered native Americans or supported slavery or segregation or forced sterilization or blatant anti-semitism, many of whom were notorious a$$h@!es in their own time but strong-armed their own statues and civic buildings.

I missed Harvey Milk's specific crime.

You're so close to understanding the reality here. It's almost like you do understand but have to defend a particular party.
You are almost to the point of understanding I don’t think the name change from Harvey Milk to something else was warranted or supported by me.    But just like the changing established norms to the now 50 vote threshold for judges….Democrats started all this name changing and statue tearing down business which was dumb so now certain Republicans feel the need to do dumb things also.

Libs: Maybe we should rethink honoring people who committed and defended atrocities and should change some of these names and take down some of these monuments that were put up for dubious political/culture war purposes in the first place

Right wingers: Wow this guy is gay, get rid of his name.

Archy: See libs, you started it, you hypocrites

like, what?

Yep. The effort to defend it is amazing though.
