Maybe in the tourists spots? I've heard from our suppliers with facilities down there that you don't want to venture too far inland or it's not pleasant. And the DR is not that bad at all...totally weird
Exactly. But, this has been happening ever since our country was founded. We have always had various immigrant groups moving in and that’s why we have grown and been a great country. Springfield has prospered because of them. Yes, theirs challenges. But….oh, I’m so sorry some people have to deal with people not like them. Go cry to the native Americans. All this has made me realize there's always cultural growing pains with immigration. For instance in the Detroit metro companies had to tell the Bengali workers to clean up the water that was splashed all over the place when they ritually washed themselves with the sink, and to stop standing on top of the toilets when they were s#!tting.
But the companies also learned to provide prayer rooms and work to accommodate their needs while fasting during Ramadan. Everybody has to adjust.
A funning thing to quote but it is very real life. Our manufacturing plant in Tulsa hosts customers from around the world. We had this similar 'messy' experience - for the life of me, I could not figure out the standing on the toilets vs sitting :dunno But you have to chalk it up to cultural differences. In my global business class, which I taught as an adjunct professor, I spent a 4 hour segment just on all of these kinds of things. What we might consider normal, is seen as weird by other cultures and visa versa. Of course, Trump/Vance use our differences as a fear tactic to pit people against people and to encourage the feeble, unthinking masses to vote for them to save them from these horrible people of color.and to stop standing on top of the toilets when they were s#!tting.
Kinda surprised it took this long for one of em to say it out loud.lmfao
Free speech and all, but when does this cross into slander? I mean he’s not voicing an opinion, he’s spewing bulls#!t he knows is untrue.well.....when his daddy was president that's what he did to Epstein so i guess i see why he says this
And, let’s really think about what is being said here.if that is the plan.....why not do it now? maybe because that isn't the f#&%ing plan at all? just more s#!t thrown at the wall to see what sticks
Canada has laws against hate speech and they seem to be fine. Same with Germany I believe. Sometimes there is some over zealous interpretation but they're still thriving democracies. And, let’s really think about what is being said here.
We even have laws against that.Canada has laws against hate speech and they seem to be fine. Same with Germany I believe. Sometimes there is some over zealous interpretation but they're still thriving democracies.
Not really. We have laws against speech that insights violence or criminal activity but you're free to lie, use slurs, and be an a$$h@!e.We even have laws against that.
