The sky is not falling

Time for a new qb. We can still have a good year, but you are NOT going to teach Tmart some fundelmental qbs things. Maybe he could play corner with all that speed.

We need to invest one of the young,raw, qbs.

I agree. I'm sure all of us were cheering our heads off when we scored first! They can't take that away from us. We played well first quarter. Our biggest problems were these: We got away from our running game and our defense couldn't stop the pass. So, come back next week and see what we can do at home.

They've had 4 games to fix the coverage. I'm not sure that they can fix anything. The further we go along I'm starting to belive Suh just made them look good.

I'm just really, really surprised Beck cancelled our running game after the 1st qtr. If that's where we're gonna go it's time to switch qbs are start all over again.

I'm not sure coverage matters when they can run the ball down our throat all night long. The second half was basically 7 yard rush followed by a 5 yard rush, over and over again. There are bigger problems on defense than a young and inexperienced secondary.

 
I agree, we can still accomplish what we set out to do this season. It was obviously a very very very ugly game for us, but we can still use this as a learning experience, keep the bad taste in our mouths, and press forward towards the Big 10 championship game in Indy. Beating a team twice in a season is tough to do even though some don't wanna listen.

 
This team reminds me of 2003. A team that could beat the teams it should, but just didn't belong in a game with a top team, and a somewhat similar QB. Well, one loss is probably too early to make that assumption. Let's not dump Pelini for another Callahan.
