The "Suuuuuuuuuuh" Thread

And the most interesting thing about Brady? If Bledsoe doesnt get hurt in that game over 11 years ago, the world as a whole still might not know who Tom Brady is to this day.

I was at the 49ers game where Alex Smith got hurt and Colin Kaepernick went in.

Wondering if that will turn out to be a bit of history.

Haven't read through the whole thread, but spikes high in any sport is uncool. I've been spiked w/baseball cleats as a catcher and those little guys and sure draw blood.

The last time Suh was relevant was when he d*ck-kicked a player. And now he's doing reality television?

Hey Suh, why don't you EARN YOUR PAYCHECK and MAKE A PLAY ON THE FIELD instead of taking part in ridiculous off-the-field shenanigans and furthering your reputation as an idiot.

He's a joke right now.

Hes going to the Pro Bowl! Apparently he gets the joke or whatever!

Suh has done a lot of things wrong from a PR standpoint, and is still scoring more endorsements and opportunities than any defensive football player in recent memory (Michael Strahan comes to mind, but only since he retired)

So it's hard to say Suh has suffered from his reputation.

What is exactly Suh's list of "negative PR events"? I mean legitimate negative attention in the press. Not every personal foul that gets a "meh" from the media

Ray Lewis once shot(stabbed?) a man just to watch him die(cough:allegedly) and he's doin just fine! ;) Endorsements flow for Ray Ray! I think perspective is needed when saying Suh is getting opportunities despite PR issues!

Late night/early morning car accidents and incidents. If you have more than one, the next one gets magnified. His off-the-field issues are pretty well chronicled on the other 24 pages of this thread.

His arm stomp in one of the most watched games of the year got tons of play and legitimate debate.

And given the forum to address and/or apologize for his on-the-field incidents, Suh has generally stoked the flames rather than offer either genuine contrition or the fake-kind your pr rep provides for you.

Suh was voted Dirtiest Player by the NFL players. You can decide if that's a badge of honor or not, but it's typically the kind of thing that keeps sponsors like Subway at arms length. But Subway signed him as a rookie and have stood by him so far.

People who can't normally name a single NFL defensive player might know who Suh is, and they know something bad about him. But so far that's been working for him.

Let's just agree that he manages to keep his pr team busy.

Burden's on you, Jarvis.

Are you saying Suh ISN'T getting a fair shake compared to Ray Lewis?

Cause your posts don't come anywhere near that conclusion. And I didn't initiate the comparison.
