The Three Remaining Winless Teams

FWIW, Sagarin has UCLA with the 2nd toughest schedule in the country so far.

Nebraska has the third toughest.

And that 3rd toughest undoubtedly took into account that we have to play tOSU and MSU, neither of whom we have faced yet.  But that doesn't negate the point entirely.

Totally missed that nugget.  This actually surprises me more that it's ranked that highly considering our opponents so far.

I *think* that's the case, based off this from his site:

The numbers to the right of a team's schedule strength
are its rank of schedule - (in parentheses) - and its
record versus teams in these rating's CURRENT top 10
and top 30 respectively.

Most winless teams get destroyed week after week. We haven't - we're literally 3 boneheaded mistakes away from 3-3. 0-6 looks bad, but we're a lot better than the record indicates.

And - unlike other season - there is no counter-example where you can say "but we're also only X plays from" having a worse record.

Advantage us.
