Thenarse Story

Just saw a preview on ESPN for GameDay tomorrow morning and they talked about how a Husker player with gang background making sure he keeps a brotherly promise, or something to that effect, and showed Thenarse... just an fyi for those that may not have known and wanna catch it in the morning.

 
College gameday starts at 9:00 central time. They have already announced that they are going to talk about Nebraska's Own Ricky Thenarse.

 
Just curious where did they "announce" this? Did they just say it at the beginning?

Rickey is my favorite player, but its kinda funny they are featuring a guy who has been our back up safety all year. My guess is they are doing a story with his struggles with gangs back in Watts.

Yup, announced it when they gave a preview of what they were doing the the show today.

 
Can anyone tell if the black flag on a long pole way out behind Corso is a blackshirt flag? Too far away for me...

 
it's about him and his brothers who died due to gang violence. And how football has kept him away from it. I feel for him, seeing his two brothers die in front of him.
