Thenarse's says "Almost every play I got beat"

God what would Grixby say to comfort him???

" Hey man don't worry, at least you only got beat everyplay in practice"

For all you haters who want to throw freshman in the game
Just because Ricky isnt ready doesnt mean Freshman cannot play. So lets not throw in the farm with that blanket statement.

Also, why is he just now seeing the ones. I may know nothing about football or coaching but I would imagine that he should see some reps throughout the year so he can lose his cockyness or what have you and say learn this "talent" over coaching lesson at the beginning or start of the season and not go through his freshman season thinking he is a badass. I am glad that he got a chance to see himself for who he is and realize he must improve drastically to start. However, I am more worried that he did not learn this early in the season. This just makes me wonder more about the development of the 2 deep and 3 on our defense???? :hmmph

If he played earlier in the year at this point in time would know more about his postion and be more prepared. the difference between him and gixby is that grixby knows where he is supposed to be (according to coz) but cant get there or cover. with the athletic ability of the younger guys i think if they were thrown in alot more in games such as nichols st and such that as the year went on they would be more knowledgeable about their postions at this point in time. just m.o. but thats my 2 cents

The point is he is learning. Learning to be a DB at Division 1 level. Being taught by coaches that know what it takes and how to evaluate the talent, their progress and thier ability.

The fact that just maybe the coaches know a little, I am sure not much, but a little bit more than a flock of internet geek defensive coordinators that most likely have never set foot on a college football field. Silly me.

Always keeping it real.
