There was more bad news: Senior Lance Brandenburgh, Nebraska's most consistent linebacker this year, is also out for the year. He suffered a shoulder injury as well. Brandenburgh finishes the season with 51 tackles and his career with 118 total stops.

 
Wow that sucks. Not a way that Lance deserves to go out. He was a great guy and played with alot of heart. Not many players can say that this year.

It may turn out to be a big blow to Nebraska's linebacking crew........ Brandenburgh's the best tackler, by far.

 
WOW!!! That's horrible news!!!! He is probably our best linebacker next to Octo! Thanks for everything Lance we really appreciated your effort this season. :hmmph

already knew that..but its kinda tough for him to go down but least it wasnt octavien

Thanks for giving it your all, Lance. I enjoyed how hard you played for the defense these last few years. :clap You will be missed. Wished you could have been on the field more as you deserved it. Hope you have a speedy recovery. :thumbs
