Fro, on a different subject, if BG goes pro next year is Franklin the heir apparent? Seems like he brings more to the table than TG.

as of now Franklin is the guy. Things could always change, but they had him on the field in a number of games this year and even put him in for extended portions as the season went on

As a "part" of Nebraska football, I understand how you could see it as a dig by Beebe, but with the facts that have been outlined about prior dispersal of divisional trophies, I don't see it that way.

Did anyone see that there's to be a news conference an hour before the game. I hope he's not going to try anything stupid like take the opportunity away from the teams limelight and cast his "I'm sorry I couldn't make it to present the trophy(giggle under his breath)" excuses.

There has to be some form of dignity in anyone that takes on a leadership position. Get over the hurt and enjoy what you have left Dan Beebe, cause and effect of being a coward has life long implications(mailing the trophy to anyone that earns it and not giving full credit where its due). Thank you for the times, good or bad, in the Big XII. When the dust settles from all this, how will you view yourself.

I am very glad that you grew up a Husker fan and have lived in Omaha the last six years. Way to go. I am also glad that you watch a lot of college football games too. You and I seem to have a lot in common. Look I'm sure you are a great person and you are right that I don't know who you are, just like you don't know who I am.

I am also glad that you have a lot of friends on this message board that can vouch for you and tell me how stupid I am for questioning you or your college football knowledge. Thing is man, I'm not the "all knowing" person who can't be questioned, I am simply a fan of Nebraska and its Football team. Being born and raised in Nebraska and watching every Nebraska game for 27 years I like to think that I have a pretty good grasp of the collective thoughts and concerns of the Nebraska fan base.

As for yesterday I was telling you my experience in Colombia, Missouri on cold October night when the Huskers got their brains bashed in and I was treated quite rudely by your fan base.

Repost: To be honest, since the players and the coaches don't care, fans shouldn't care either. It is just funny to point out the hypocrisy on our way out the door. Maybe it is just trying to provide hard facts for our reasons of leaving the conference, but I don't think we need these examples all we need to show the Big XII north schools is their voting record when it came to placating the southern schools. Time and time again Nebraska was the only voice of reason/dissent when it came to shifting the power to the south.

Let me tell you what else I am sick of, people writing that Nebraska fans are so arrogant now that they are leaving the Big X(ii). No Nebraska fans I know of say that they are better people because of our football team, but they will tell you that our Team is better than yours. Pretty big difference in my opinion.
