How would you like to be Texas, getting beat down at home by BYU 42-7?

Or how about Florida State win another mediocre game against a weak opponent?

Mighty UCLA is only up one score on Memphis.

We're not the only team with problems. I think Texas has it worse: they have a brand new coach and get destroyed at home by unranked BYU.

 
I'm just glad we're not playing FCS schools anymore. I hope that's really the case. There's nothing to gain by it and everything to lose.

 
Spot on Moraine. Nothing to gain no matter the score. Well we are being mentioned about every 18 seconds on ESPN, Fox and CBS. I guess if they spell the name right it is okay.

I hate these games.

 
This was a trap game from the get go. We crushed FAU, we look past the little team to Fresno state and bAm we are in a fight for the game. We won, we play next week, and we are still undefeated, that's all that matters.

 
We escaped with a W. Iowa should have lost being down 10 with 6 minutes left in the game, ball state played conservative and dumb. We can still accomplish our goals. The B1G blows so we have just as much a shot as any other team.

But I get what you're going at--Nebraska should be holding itself to a higher standard...

...like comparing ourselves to the winningest programs in CFB history, like Michigan or Texass, right? ;-)

 
Think Texas or Michigan stick with our staff for 7 years? I don't. How about other elite programs? Oklahoma? Florida State? USC? Ohio State? Bama? LSU etc etc.

I prefer we are put on that level and that we as a fanbase hold the program to these standards. If we do not no one else will.

 
It could certainly be worse bc/ it isn't even bad. Straighten up people! Some of you you really do need a new hobby (although you'd probably suck the joy from it until it laid dead and lifeless on the floor).

You doubted he would come back at the first sign of trouble?

As for this staff...folks need to realize that as much as folks are ripping Beck (like I have), I also think they could be great if someone would break them of their self-destructive tendencies?

That's where Bo needs to step up as HC and tell Beck he's "turtling" the offense and to get his playmakers involved.
