The conference was thriving when Nebraska was down....remember the year of the qb?

The conference had six teams in the top 25 and gameday was in the conference every week:

OU/Texas/OSU/Missouri/Kansas/TT

OSU, Missouri, Kansas, and Texas Tech aren't really that good. overhyped and over ranked.

Thay all had their 10 minutes of fame for a season or two

Who are we all kidding - this conference will be defunct way before the end of his contract. Looks like the league just voted to say - "Yes Texas, we know you have Beebe by the B@%^s and therefore run the conference, glad we could extend your control of us"

Hell for all we know its probably because no other person in their right mind would take control of a conference completely controlled by UT.
