I was hoping it was a protest thing.

At first glance, I thought CU had their own version of the "Terrible Towels" and that some of our fans had confiscated them.

I was against this when I first read about it, I thought it was more stupid than I did classless. After seeing it on tv yesterday, it was funny and I can admit I was wrong about it. I wouldn't want to see the whole crowd do it but it was a clever way for the student section to protest the officating.

This is me, exactly. I thought it was silly at first, but after seeing it in person, I laughed. Every time they threw a flag the first thing I did was look over at the Student Section to see if they were waving their flags. I was even disappointed that they seemed to lose steam with it in the second half.
