Thor: Love & Thunder

Another thing that Ragnarok did was rejuvenate Hemsworth to the character and the MCU at large; he was quite unhappy with the character up until that point, but has been given more creative freedom since, and he's stated before the Thor 4 reveal that he was more than happy to return after Endgame.

Yeah, it definitely sounds like he wasn't having a lot of fun before Ragnarok.  It was definitely a pretty dry character.  I thought how Thor had been portrayed worked fine because of his background and as a completely different attitude of a character from the other MCU characters but I can see how it wouldn't have been as much fun for Hemsworth.

The Dark World and Ragnarok are almost unrecognizable as chronological sequel films.  Dark World was almost too dry and serious.  Ragnarok got a little too campy at points.  Hoping a happy medium can be found for this installment.

"Find out who I am" ??

Meh.

They could do a better story line for Thor  <_<

Will be interesting to see where they go with this.

Although that line does tie back to his statement in Endgame that "it's time for me to be who I am, not who I'm supposed to be" or something to that effect.

This is the story trajectory he's been on throughout the entirety of the MCU (and really, for the last decade or so in the comics).

Needed more Gorr and less Thor.   Bale is phenomenal as usual.   I could watch a 3 hour movie of just Bale.

Agreed Bale was great. This movie is strike one for the new MCU. The humor seemed forced and the subplots stunk.  I hope Disney turns it around or my MCU fandom will fade. Ragnarok is still my favorite Thor movie.
