It's Alannis Morrisette's birthday, duh!
I find Alanis Morisette a bit over rated. She was fine in the 90's when all of the angry chick alt rock (Ani DiFranco & Sleater Kinney are prime examples) were the darlings of college and alternative radio. That fad was short lives due to the fact of I think the public can only handle so many angry break up songs. I'm not sure how Taylor Swift is going to keep this up, unless she keeps dating guys she can write break up songs about, leading the public to percieve that they are douchebags, when, in fact, I think she's a complete headcase. She may just date famous guys, to break up with them, so they can be her lyrical inspiration. Not too mention, if you end up dating her, you've got good odds that there will be a song written about you should a break up occur. Worse is you may end up in one of those ridiculous magazines you have to look at when your in the check out at your local grocery store. A grainy picture of you and Taylor on the cover and some ludicrous tag line that obviously will make you look like a complete and utter douchebag.
You just associated Sleater-Kinney with Taylor Swift and now we have to fight.
Admitting you like Sleater Kinney is tantamount to being "Mr Sensitive Ponytail guy" in the 90's, using the fact that you listened to Sleater Kinney in some feeble attempt to get laid...
I've never heard of Sleater Kinney.
90's college vagina rock, you're missing nothing...

But Polo was defending them, interesting, interesting...
Just listened to some of their songs on Amazon. beanman no likey.
Yeah, they suck on multiple levels...

It was one of those horrible bands that Spin or Rolling Stone told you to like back in the 90's...
I was to busy listening Slayer and other cool bands.
