Thread of Hate

I hate that my bank decided to lock my debit card because it had been "compromised", five days ago no less, but at no point did they inform me by phone, e-mail or text that it had been compromised. Instead, they just decided to lock it and send me a new one in the mail.

The only reason I found out it was locked? Because I had to call.

My card is STILL ringing up purchases in person though, but won't work for anything online. What the hell?

This thread has been dormant way too long and I can't believe nobody has written in it with the dumpster fire of the presidential election we have going on:

1. I hate that our two "best" options for president right now are Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.

2. I hate that there are so many people out there in Husker nation that aren't as happy with a 7-0 start as they should be.

3. I hate that my 5 year old has to put up with having seizures and now has strep throat to contend with.

4. I hate having to sit in my classroom for 5 hours straight for parent-teacher conferences when I know that I will only see about 5-8 parents in that time. (I live in small town Broken Bow and see so many parents out in the community that they just don't feel the need to come to PT Conferences.)

There, I started things up. Keep things going with what we all hate.

I still hate Wisconsin.

I hate that thanks to harvest my DVR is full and I'm way behind on all my shows.

I hate that we are really beat up and not healthy enough to play to our fullest potential during our toughest two games.

Maybe you could have watched some of 1995 Redux's recordings for him while you were at PT conferences.

Sucks about your child.

Let the 5 hours of solitude begin! PT conferences from 8-1 in my classroom!

I hate this election.

I hate Clinton even more.
Yeah, this whole election is going to be decided by which candidate the voters hate the least.

We have a terrible, terrible pair of candidates to choose between. Our political system failed us.

Yep that's the sad part about this whole election. It's not about who you are voting for, it's who you're voting against. It should never be that way.

It's been that way for quite a while, this year it's just painfully obvious to even the dumbest voter.

To a degree. At least for me, the last couple elections I've thought one candidate would be better for the country than the other. This election I wish they could both lose.

Kerry vs Bush comes to mind. Nobody was really voting for Kerry, they just wanted to vote against Bush. A monkey in a suit would have gotten the same amount of votes.

There wasn't really any good reason to hate Kerry. He was just boring and unrelatable.

I actually went to one of his rallies in Des Moines about a month before the election (but voted for Nader).

We all stood outside for maybe 4 hours waiting and then for 15-30 minutes listening to his speech. It was around 30 degrees out so pretty uncomfortable. His wife came out in a huge fur coat to stand by him and acted like she was suffering the worst torture anyone has ever suffered because she had to be outside in the cold for 15-30 minutes and then hurried back inside once he was done talking. It probably doesn't seem like a big deal but I can't have been the only one thinking how long we, the little people, had been standing outside. (He also had a smarmy as hell Clinton-wannabe running mate who ended up being a complete a**hole).
