Thunderin' Bolts at Omaha

Keep getting the young guys ABs, hopefully we get some of these young pitchers some innings. Maybe we will hit a stride in the 2nd half of the season and surprise some folks. I certainly didn't want or expect a rebuild but that's where we are at now. 

 
I think most of us believed a rebuild was a reality but were hoping there would be less of a need then it appears there is. Regardless, the recruiting is consistent, the talent though young is real and in time, the fruits of the labor will show up. Just gotta keep believing in the program!! :) Bolt's boys are growing!!

 
Still scoreless which is what counts.

But having to strand five guys on base in two innings to accomplish that is the definition of living on the edge.


 
Down 1-0 it's still early but like mav noted, it could be worse. 

First game at home, our bats need to wake up.  It's not like we are facing Vanderbilt's pitching staff.  Or are we?
