Caron hits triple, scoring Silva . Throw onto 3rd hits, Caron and goes out of play. Caron awarded home. 5-0 Huskers, still in top of 5

 
Both teams add 1.  Christo has given up 8 hits, but 7 have been scattered singles. Lopes finally string two together, one being a double. Christo works out of inning. Top of 7, 6-1 skers

 
Huskers go to bullpen to start the bottom of 7th. Brocket onto pitch. Hits first batter but a double play erases him. Onto the top of eight.

 
2-0 GBR after 2.  Sears basically pitched around big bopper, then hit next batter.  Gets slow roller double play then another K to escape scoreless
