Tigs v Yanks

Yankees got a huge break drawing Detroit in a 5 game series instead of the Twins. They will probably sweep this series, Detroit hasn't been playing good ball since early August.

 
Strange, ever since football season started, I just stoped caring about baseball.

I guess I use it as a crutch to get me through off-season,

 
I can't believe the Tigers let the division slip away by losing to the Royals. I just don't see their young pitchers shutting down the Yanks lineup throughout a five game series.

 
The Twins have been the best team in the Majors since June 1st. Santana pitching twice in a best of 5? As you New YAWKERS would say...FUHGETABOUTIT!

The Tigers have a worse record than the Royals since August 1st.

 
I am looking forward to the Maddux/Glavine matchup in game 2. I hope the Dodgers win since those damn Mets broke the Braves streak of division titles.

I'd like to see that, and my Dodgers knocking out the pinstripers. I would like to see the Twins-Dodgers too. The NL is wide open, but the Yankees and the Twins are the best teams in the majors.

 
The doyers have a shot. Any short series where you can throw Lowe, Maddux, Penny, and Kuo out there you're doing OK. lLso, Saito will not have a rotator cuff after three years but I'[ll take that unhittable slider right now.
