The coach, entering his fourth season, will no longer receive bonuses for 20 wins in a season, top-four Big Ten Conference finishes, semi-finals appearances in the Big Ten Tournament, NIT appearances/championships or for being named Big Ten Coach of the Year.
Miles received two of those bonuses in 2014, when he earned $50,000 for being named conference coach of the year and $50,000 for a top-four conference finish.
The only bonuses in Miles' new contract include winning the Big Ten Conference regular-season or conference tournament ($100,000) and for appearances in the NCAA Tournament ($150,000, plus anywhere from $30,000 to $300,000 for victories in the NCAA Tournament).
Those bonuses remain unchanged from his previous contract.
Miles last week received a one-year contract extension and a raise of nearly $400,000 to $2,000,080 in 2015-16. He's scheduled to receive annual raises each season through 2019-20, when he'll have an annual salary of $2,500,000.
