Ffs, I didn't say Dirk said anything profound.  Just that I agreed with him that anything less than a major, major hire would set us back further.

Copeland being on the floor spread out the defensive pressure imo.  Without him, defenses have smothered the couple guy we have who are capable thus shutting us down.  Cope wasn't our best player and I would argue that the same result would have happened if JP or Roby had gone down.

I dont think basketball you can get set back 5 years. Basketball takes like 1 or 2 recruiting classes to be good. The kids play sooner and have a bigger impact than football. In football you have 22 starting spots to fill with good players when your turning it around. Basketball you have 5.
