Time Out Timer Coming to Memorial Stadium

OK but when people have to watch that clock more than actual playing time then "Houston we have a problem."

Great I hope that they have the ability to go to ten minutes, because at the rate TV is going....

Anyone have updated news on the tunnel walk? It looked like the inside and now outside was going to be LED lighting

I remember going to games at Memorial Stadium (I member!!) and there would be the referee in the green jacket who would come out on the field during media timeouts.  I would call him "Evil TV Referee" because that meant there would be an extended media timeout.

I also saw they replaced the lights in the East and West Stadium to LEDs. If they put in color changing LEDs could this mean a tunnel walk using red Stadium lights? Imagine that at night

Sill exists - except he's got an orange vest instead of green.  He's on the visitor sideline at about the 20 yard line on the south end.  During media timeouts, he'll come out on the field and the Back Judge will go stand by him.  When he gives the go-ahead, the ref runs back into position and off we go.

That's exactly where I remember him standing.  Whenever there was a change of possession, I would look down at the guy to see if he was going to walk on the field to represent the media timeout.  I am sure he had a headset to the TV guys to know when they were about to come out of commercial break and let the Back Judge know.
