It is understandable that it confused the O line on blocking assignments.

The OL doesn't call those shots, the QB does because he's the guy standing back there surveying the field. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Offensive lineman have checks to go through too. Not saying the qb doesnt have responsibilities in pointing out potential blitz locations, but the oline probably has just as many responsibilities.
