Clearly Northern Illinois had more talent. That's why they won, and that remains the reason why NU loses. Lack of talent, overpaid staff, complacent fan base.

not according to the recruiting geeks- we clearly had more stars and actually finished in the top 50 every year  any player on the team now was recruited- No. Illinois?? couldn't breach the top 100.....I'll give you over-paid staff- fan base? does No Illinois have a "fan" base?

Wasn't Frank fired in November of 2003? And Pederson is October of 2007?

I'm sure you're correct. All I know is that Nebraska football as we know it died when Frankie was fired and Pederson took over.
