Today as I went out to run errands here in Texas

I was sporting my Nebraska shirt and hat as always. I swear to god about 20 people at Lowes, Home Depot and Auto Zone were asking me if I thought Nebraska was going to win today. I told him not too sure but I damn sure hope so. 100% of them either thought we were going to win, or were pulling for us to win. You talk about connecting states hating each other. Texas fans DESPISE everything about the Sooners! Just thought I would pass that along. :restore

I get the opposite when I wear Husker gear. I get smart a$$ comments and people giving me dirty looks.

Oh well They can kiss my a$$.

Nope! You have to have thick skin to live here and be a Husker.

The fans here and the media are giving us zero chance tonight.

I gave up trying to rationalise it with them.

I have spoke to a couple UT fans too. They are definently pulling for us tonight.

It really sucks living in Iowa but some times I have to ask the questions like "What was the score again?" or "What was your record this year?" to shut those dumb f@#$% up.

Just tell em there is always next year. Where Iowa will be talking about BCS berths and national titles, but then end up going 8-4 or worse. Happens every year typically, but this year was especially bad. It must be something about Iowa because ISU fans talk the same way.

None.

But I saw quite a bit of Longwhorns crap (it's always fashionable).

The only time I ever got a comment about what I was wearing was when it was busy and they asked me to jump on a cash register. A get a woman come through and she looks me up and down, and goes, "A Husker fan? Well I'm from Oklahoma. So I guess we're not supposed to like each other."

"No ma'am."

I think we played a good overall game besides the few misques on the interceptions, but the guys were wide open, just underthrew it.

Living in OK and being a Husker isn't too bad. I had a few conversations today with OU fans that were just glad to have NEB/OU in the championship game, like it should be!
