Today was Jack's last day of chemo

I remember interviewing Andy about Team Jack and the launch of some new fundraising t-shirts just before the 2013 spring game. Had no idea what was about to happen at the game and neither did he. I was also fortunate enough to travel up to Atkinson one time to cover a Team Jack auction/benefit.

The whole family was just some of the nicest people. Andy was always super easy to get ahold of despite how busy they were, and Jack was the sweetest kid even with all the attention he got. Absolutely gutwrenching.

That's the thing with cancer. When it comes back, it usually comes back with a roar. My heart goes out to his wife and their family. First her husband, now her son.

This is absolutely gutwrenching. I cannot fathom what that poor family is going through right now, to lose both Andy and Jack to such a menace. Horrible.

Damn. Poor kid was only 19... No family should have to go through what they've had to endure.

I've known way too many people diagnosed with or who passed away from cancer in the last 3 months. f#&% cancer.

Hard to understand “why”!?!? Feel terrible for the family and all they’ve gone through. I’ll never forget watching Jack in memorial stadium on that day.
Cancer is a dirty bit** and this one hurts! RIP Jack and GBR!  :bigredn:
