Tomerline no longer part of team

I dunno, maybe Tomerline is no longer on the team, because he is now Tomerlin. :sarcasm I know the kid has had difficulties and that he has had injuries to his ribs that is bad enough to redshirt him, but Nameless, you better drop a source or at least a reason.

 
but that is the point, he is Nameless, thus he could never name his sources. It might come back to haunt him, so that we might know who he is. :lol:

 
People worry to much about sources these days. Would there be a reason i am posting this other then it being something i am sure is close to a fact? The info will surface soon enough. If you want to believe the info, great. If you don't want to believe it, then take it for what it's worth. I am just relaying info i heard and it did not sound like a rumour

I would almost suggest this one being locked up and deleted. No need to be the center of a rumor bringing, doesn't everyone think?

If the rumor comes out and is true, I'm sure everyone will give Nameless his due for calling it before everyone else.

Thanks for the concern BigWillie, but I think its alright, for now.

Rumors fly around on forums all the time, and it would be pretty tough to quarantine everything we didnt know was gospel. Nameless was just sharing info he heard from a source, which many people do everyday - and it didnt defame Tomerlin in any way. So if it turns out to be untrue it will only weaken Nameless' reputation - not Tomerlins - b/c he just said he was "no longer part of the team", not even inferring that he was "kicked off" for drug use, being too soft, or any other libelous statements - so overall its fairly harmless.

But I do agree that we definitely dont want this board to turn into a sideshow for ridiculous statements, so if we go more than a few more days without it being confirmed we'll move it to the BRLounge, where BS is king.

Maybe because sources are a cue to the reader or listener of whether or not to process it, or dismiss it. This is why in school, you have to list credible sources for papers and projects, and at work you have to cite credible sources if you want what you say to be taken seriously.

That's cool, man, I have heard from another source that he was practicing yesterday with the tight ends. Because Tomerlin could be a stud, I hope you(or your source) is wrong about this one. :thumbs

Yeah, people worry too much about sources these days. I'm just some guy who spends all day typing on the internet. No one has ever met me or seen me but because I type a lot on the internet, you should believe me.

Nameless, you might turn out to be right...in which case your credibility will be bolstered. But that last post didn't do much to help you. There are ways of indicating that you have sources without revealing them.
