Too much MO?

Eric the Red

Team HuskerBoard
I felt the Huskers really made an attempt to get MO the ball. He started the game, had numerous receptions, several drops. Taylor made a conscious effort to get Mo the ball.

BUt did he pay too much attentoin and not get the ball spread around, thus causing the lack of production after the 1st QTR?

ALthough I think you are on to something...Zack really didn't have a lot of time to check down to other WR's.

Yup, he's gotta hang on to the ball.

:yeah Yeah he was okay by hitting the guy because the guy was still coming. I think he looked pretty frustrated right around that time because we were starting to have problems. I can't believe he dropped that many passes though he never does that!!! :dunno

I am happy to see him getting the ball more, but he needs to hold on to it. He is our best wr though, no doubt, and will be for the rest of his career.

I say keep giving him the ball. My one question is what is up with Nunn? He is playing like crap

I say keep getting him the ball. I just hope that ZT doesn't key in on him too much as he has a habit of just keying in on one receiver. He just has to hold on to the ball...but the other receivers need to as well. Way too many drops the past few weeks.

The drops are coming because there has been no consistency. We know about Hardy but I think swift is suffering from lack of chances and when he gets 1 or 2 thrown at him now he is so shocked it's like a hot potato.

It seems as if Purify is the only consistent play maker when catching the ball. He has had his share of drops, but when he catches the ball he does something with it. Swift drops the ball often now. He had the surest hands on the team last year. Hardy is so inconsistent. I sure hope he never takes a kick off from 8 yards deep again. Nunn has fared ok and Peterson has caught I think every pass thrown his way all year.
