Top 5 All-Time B1G Quarterbacks

Great! That would mean Tommy might be the only QB who could be at the top of TWO conference lists!

Also why did they hit his accuracy first thing? Obviously with all the wins and championships he was not tossing up a bunch of picks!
You mean Tommie? As in Frazier?
And it's possible he could be the top in 3 conferences, theoretically.
Seems like some poll had Vince Young being the top in the Big 12. Probably written by a texas homer.
Tommie never played in the Big 12. It's first year was in the Fall of 1996.
It's hard to argue that Vince Young isn't the best QB in the Big 12 era.

Its funny they picked that play, too. Tommy says it wasn't that big a deal because Florida had given up by then and was just going through the motions. His favorite play is the pass play at Colorado that year in the 2nd half when he was hit but stayed up and pitched a strike down the sideline.

I love that play so much, but the more I watch it, the more I realize it wasn't so much the greatest run as it was the worst tackling.

Purdue has two hall of Famers in Griese and Dawson. Brees will be in Canton. Brady is one of the best ever from Michigan.

I'm talking in terms of college greatness
No honorable mention ? ..... Todd Blackledge.

Blackledge was a three-year starter at Penn State, where he guided the Nittany Lions to 31–5 record including a national championship in 1982. Following the 1982 season, he won the Davey O'Brien Award for best quarterback in the nation (wiki source)

B1G hasn't had a 1st round NFL QB since Kerry Collins.
Still, the Big 10 had 5 starting QBs in the NFL last year, I believe, including guys named Tom Brady, Drew Brees and Russell Wilson.
Brees was actually the 1st pick of the 2nd round in 2001. He was pick 32, so someone lost a pick in the 1st round, but google isn't helping me to figure out who.

And Wilson played 1 year at Wisconsin, so he is in murky territory as to who gets to claim him IMO.

Texans first year was in 2002.

Ahhhh!

I forgot they didn't add the new Browns and Texans at the same time.
