omaha dont suk its actually a better all around town than lincoln. take away the U and what is lincoln? a bigger seward really. where you from red nov? probly des moines or counciltucky.

several fortune 500 cos, the best zoo in the country, the 2nd best zoo in counciltucky, a bunch of bars with a brick road, a place called buffalo bobs or somethin across from the blatt, some damn good indy-bands, real hockey teams in UNO and the Lancers, and a river.

 
Did you actually say "real" hockey teams. First off who cares about hockey? Second off nobody outside of Omaha or Lincoln has ever heard of them.

There is no Place like "O" Street.

Omaha is also entirely to conservative. Bunch of rich, white men.

Plenty of people care about hockey. Have you ever been to a local hockey game?Maybe if DMB wrote a song about it you would care. I heard DMB is part of that group of rock stars that have decided to do a political tour. Imagine if they all put that energy into making albums worth buying. :o

Considering both UNO and the Lancers have been to national tournaments in the past 5 years or so, I am going to have to say that you don't know what you are talking about. The lancers even one a National Championship in 2000-2001.

I will give you that UNO has been dragging a$$ the last couple years. The lancers always seem to start slow then gain steam towards the playoffs.

Hockey is none existent around here. The best place to watch hockey is in Madison Square Garden. Especially when the Devils or Islanders come in. Caution: Do not bring children or women with you. You'll hear words the devil would blush at.

 
Okay again, what are your favorite bands?? No one said I'm gonna trash them. Just need to know so I know what I'm working with.
