WOW! I am guessing as the years go on some of the fans that treated him like garbage will look back and see how great of career he had...hopefully!

He never looked quite the same after he was hurt his freshman year. He never played with the same swagger as he did against KSU, Washington 1 and Okie lite. He just looked so confident playing.

He played well, just not like that.

I tell you, when this team is winning championships again (and I feel those days are coming soon), I will remember Martinez as the guy who built the foundation for it all.

I knew he was fast his freshman year, but he also took hits in stride. Didn't even phase him. Later he became a get down and don't fumble player.
