Well...with the exception of being convicted of a felony for armed robbery. Otherwise, he's a great person.

To what are you referring to?

In HS or as a Freshman he robbed a gas station. A la LP, it was TO that assisted him to get back on the team.

Actually it was 1970. It was before he won the Heisman Trophy. He is still the only Heisman winner to have been convicted of a Felony previous to winning it.

Holy Crap! I just realized this was in referrence to the Jet. I thought it was an accusation against TF. The guy didn't screw up off the field that I'm aware of so who cares if he rubbed people the wrong way. I think as long as a star doesn't really mess up off the field then his life off the field shouldn't weigh in to the HOF.

I also believe he is the only MVP to be selected from the losing team.

I'll be the first to say, he isn't the nicest guy in the world (unless you have breasts, and I mean woman breasts, man cans don't count). He likes the ladies and doesn't care to talk to men. Hell, most of his teammates didn't like him but they'd be the first to tell you how great a football player he was.

Fact is, his football resume speaks for itself and he is easily a HoFamer for his on-field play, no questions asked.
