This insane talk about trading Peyton and picking up Luck is crazy and makes no sense what so ever to me. Why would you part with one of the greatest QBs to play for a crap shoot when you just gave him a life long retirement contract. Can anyone else make sense of this stupidity ?

What makes you think the old Peyton will be able to make a comeback? Personally I think he'll never be the same. Invest in the future ...

The way its looking is they won't have to trade up to get him, if you're investing in the future why not have Peyton there to give advice to Luck.

Ok yea you're right...they shouldn't trade him. Dunno what I was thinking, just kind of focused on the Luck part. Yea they should keep him if only to mentor the next guy.

Not sure anyone would want that big contract. Still has 4 years left I believe. Hard to take on something like that without even knowing if he will play again.

It seems less and less likely Manning will ever even play again, that vertebrae stuff is no joke. They had better grab Luck.

And hell, if he can't play for them anymore, maybe they will just make him the head coach, sounds like he has been almost that anyway since Dungy retired.
