This is not late. Everyone in the country will be trying to add top players. They are projecting this spring portal cycle to have even better and more quality type players than the last.

Yep. Most guys know already if they should stay or go. They know from practice reps, and who gets focus from coaches.

Correct, the guy from ok st. Is not that player.  He was on a team that had trouble running the ball.

Called research!  ESPN - No. 523 overall tackle in college football with a 51.0 overall grade that rated respectably in pass blocking, but his 39.0 run-blocking grade was dead last among qualifying tackles.

Right now there are very few quality plug-in players in the portal.  There are some young intriguing guys that probably need a year of development. This next couple weeks could be interesting.
