Some of that I think is an attempt to draw the defense to an outlet pass, but I agree the timing coming off of it is wrong a fair amount. It's like the almost TD to Warner against OSU - stared down the (think it was a bubble) other receiver and it worked drawing the defense there, but then he was a hair late back to Warner. And then also gunned it way harder than necessary and looked like he expected Warner to stop so behind him too. But I think the stare downs are designed, just not executed cleanly.

I remember that. I think his  parents did not want him to come initially either. If memory serves.

BTW, has there been any interest from Cade Johnson? He's from Papillion, he's the son of former Husker Clester Johnson, he's first team WR on several of those lists, and he's in the portal. But there was a bit of a brouhaha earlier this year about Clester being less than impressed with the current state of the program, and his brother Keagan just signed with Iowa.

Saw on reddit Markese Stepp (4* RB from USC, went to HS in Indiana) was in town and considering us - anyone heard anything about that? I don't know any of the redditors credibility, and there are unsubstantiated claims for most teams at this point.

Oh my bad, I got lost in the Toure stuff. Glad he was at least here apparently, glancing through 247's portal he always stuck out but we don't have an obvious connection so I didn't think we'd be in the running.

 
I'm not reading though this whole thread. Can someone tell me if Wandale actually is in the transfer portal?

No, there will either be an announcement or it will be immediately leaked. But the rumors have not gone away. We'll definitely know in the next 5 or whatever days (probably sooner), he'll either come back to campus or he won't.

Thank you. I figured it was just more rumor doom posting but wanted to make sure.
