Transfers

Was it a long time ago? It might have been. This is the first I remember hearing of it. I remember hearing a couple other players were transferring, but I don't think Shawn was one of them...my bad if it's a double post :)

 
I think we heard about it between colorado and the bowl game.

A lot of focus in the secondary in recruiting. The spread offenses probably have something to do with that. What are there like 5 or 6 secondary guys in this class? I still think that QB out of California (Martinez) will be competing for the QB job in a couple years.

 
I thought him and his dad both stated he would not be playing QB at NU. I'm sure it has to do with what will get him into the NFL. Wasn't he Mr. Southern California? If Green is all that's advertised, why have this kid ride the pine competing for a QB job?

no... because we were so bad under callahan we always assumed the guy were losing had to be better than those playing.

truth be told, I hadn't heard anything about this guy being a potential contributor so that's why I'm not too upset. There were guys younger than him getting more playing time.

Harrison Beck. Brian Hildebrandt. Leon Jackson. Joe Dailey. Please fill me in on these supposed "guys who lost to transfer" who we had to assume were "better than" Zac Taylor, Brandon Jackson, et. al.
