As much as this could hype them up, look at everything that people are saying about the Huskers. We have no chance, we shouldn't be on the same field, they will destroy us. I am pretty sure there is some bulliten board material for us as well. GBR!

 
I dont think his comments have screwed us out of a victory....these comments will not dictate whether we win or lose our play will

 
I know when I played football those quotes really only got you pumped up for five or so minutes, I dont believe that you can play a whole game just because somebody said when we beat USC. If anything the player thinks about the quotes and tries to make a play he might as well just run over the field and chase the ball.

 
If what people say is going to decide who wins this game then we should be in great shape bc not a person outside of the state of nebraska is thinking we will win and not a one of those people is shy about saying so.

Exactamundo! Some crap like that MAY work for a series or two, but that's it. What about the USC lineman that said NU is "no big deal"? Is that bulletin board material for NU as well? Aren't they even? Does anyone really care?

If you have to put a quote up on your locker everyday to get you motivated to beat your opponent, then you have no business taking the field. That's like posting a negative review from a supervisor up at your desk to get you motivated to do your job right. Whatever though, make a mountain out of a mole hill, it's not my bag, so go right ahead. :thumbs
