Trent Richardson

Badgerfan I'm gunna start a Heisman thread for you with everybody's stats and we can all vote on who we think deserves it. Here's who I've got so far

Montee Ball, Matt Barkley, Robert Griffin III, Case Keenum, Luke Kuechly, Andrew Luck, Tyrann Mathieu, Kellen Moore, Trent Richardson, and Brandon Weeden

Seems like a pretty inclusive list. Good stuff.

Trent Richardson, who has nearly half the TD's Ball has, substantially fewer yards and a lower YPC average has won the Doak Walker award.

Ok I'm done. I give up.

Screw college football. Bunch of bull...I'm going back to watching curling.

...I hate the SEC over-hype, and how their weak conference play is going to get swept under the rug by a propaganda ESPN machine that will constantly claim the SEC has won this many championships in a row...

Well, I like the SEC but football is played outside of it as well and some pretty damn good football at that. I just find this ridiculous. The man is about to break Barry Sander's record, its damn near a guarantee with the kinds of games he's been having and he gets next to no respect.

I could see using the SEC card if Ball and Trent had somewhere near comparable stats but they don't.

Now you know how we felt after Ingram won the Heisman over Suh. Some friends and I were out tonight and this was on TV. He said Ball was gonna win and I said Richardson is a guarantee bc he is in the SEC and nothing else. Look what happened. He will win the Heisman, also.

Case Keenum doesn't play anybody. Although I will give credit where it is due. He is a man among boys...just too bad he plays in the children's conference...
He's on pace to set almost every NCAA passing record. I don't care who you play against, that's impressive.

You must be one of those people who thinks the best player on the #1 team should win it every year.
Oh yeah that's me to a T. Try reading my entire post. It's only 3 partial sentences long. I gave credit. I didn't say he shouldn't be in the discussion or even win it. I just said his body of work isn't as impressive against the midmajors. Simply a fact.

Badgerfan, I feel ya brother...

I have a guy I work with who's a 'bama fan. I constantly have to keep reminding him that his boy Ingram is keeping Suh's Heisman warm...
