How are Wisconsin fans blaming the referees? Was there even any controversial calls?
Exactly. If anything we have more to gripe about. There were a few sh**ty spots that benefited them and that spot screwup with 1:26 left saved them time which could have been a big issue in the game. And I don't care what anyone says, Enunwa caught that ball. They could have at least reviewed it for Christ's sake.
The only thing I saw that was missed was a small hold on Abdullah's long kickoff return and I'm not sure if I would have called it either.
First, I don't think it's that big of an issue among Wisconsin fans or at least on the boards. It was mentioned in a list of several takeways of the game that was predominately about Wisconsin and what they did, and did not do. And like I have said earlier in one of the two posts I made in the in-game thread, I don't think any of the calls or no-calls had a big impact on the game. As far as the calls that people could take issue with, there were several holding penalties that were not made, and yeah sure you can say everyone holds it can't be called every time, but some were pretty blatant. If you rewatch the Taylor Martinez rushing TD, just watch your right tackle.
