What if we don't land another defensive back? Are we in trouble in the Defensive backfield?

I think so... Lets hope Reggie commits to NU and Leon Jackson qualifies.

 
I think no matter who you got back there you have to worry about your secondary. I pray Bowman can step in right away. We also have Defrand.. :blink: :blink: although you know how that is.

 
I'm more concerned with the defensive front, actually. If they can get a push and pressure the quarterback, that would cover a lot of weaknesses in the secondary. If they can't...it'll be a loooooooooong season...

 
It should be interesting. Crap if Fabian can play and be alright as a true freshman I think a couple of these dudes will be ok. I agree with AR also that we need better play out of the front four.

Fabian was ok as a true freshman but I wouldn't say anything better than that. He didn't play much until half way through. It will be interesting. Especially if anyone gets banged up.

Didn't he return an INT for a TD the first game of the year against ASU?

In the 4th quarter when the game was decided and alot of the subs were in.

 
I believe Washington was part of Bohl's quarter package for the secondary during the year. I remember he would get about 8-10 plays during the game on third downs or obvious passing downs.

Yes he did later on in the year.
