Troy Dannen to be New Athletic Director

I am not buying or selling on a Governor speaking at a Public University press conference.  I would prefer politicians to stay out of sports all together, but unfortunately in this day and age everything becomes political. We saw this last week with some Husker fans blaming the Governor for Alberts leaving.  

I wish Dannen, Rhule and all Husker coaches and fans great success in the coming years!

 
What I think is funny is that after we hired Dannen away, Washington hired Pat Chun from Washington State. Chun had previously got the AD job at Wazzu after we hired Moos away from them. So Chun effectively ended up in both of his last two jobs because of us. Chun was also the AD at FAU when Carl Pelini was there.
