http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2011/09/21/lawyers-file-appeal-to-stay-troy-davis-execution/ Executed today at approx. 11:08 ET, for those of you who havnt been following the story he had been convicted of a murder in 89' of an off duty cop and has been on death row since, anyways he got the penalty today finally after it got pushed back mulitple times, this just shows how corrupt the justice system is, we will never know if he was truely guilty or innocent, if there is even an ounce of doubt that a person is 100% guilty then they shouldn't kill them. RIP Davis

Agreed. I had no clue who he was and just found out yesterday. I'm already sick of hearing about him. Enough with him.

They couldn't even prove he did it beyond a reasonable doubt and if your gonna tell me everyone that has been executed has been guilty, your dreaming. Maybe he did it, maybe he didn't, but if it's not 100% certain, keep him in prison.

Anyways, I am for the death penalty and when it HAS been proven/admitted, quit jerking things around by keeping the SOB on death row for thirty f'ing years and just end it.
