The flag is still the symbol of the country I love.  It's a great symbol reminding us of the sacrifice so many people have given for this country.  However, MAGA has tarnished the shine of waving the flag for me.  It has turned into a...."See...I'm the most amazing patriot and better than you because I'm waving a bigger flag or MORE flags than you".  And.....with Trump, that's exactly what this is.

Put another way.  The flag isn't a symbol of how big of a patriot YOU are.  It's a symbol showing your sollumn honor you're giving to the real patriots who have sacrificed.  Trump is using this as a symbol for himself.
