I hope to God there are hundreds or even thousands employees who speak to the press anonymously (until their jobs are cut...)

 
So...yeah....you wouldn't want any of the research the USDA does to end up in the press. That information is so damaging to America it needs to be kept behind locked doors.

I think this guy/gal is probably saving all sorts of stuff to zip drives and smuggling it out of his office ... if not he should, cuz I'm guessing he'll get an escort out tonight.

It only takes a few brave souls to change the world. His/her courage to do what's right when it's not easy to do so should be commended.

 
Really cool seeing hundreds of people respond to the badlands tweets offering financial support, resume collecting, places to stay, etc. for whoever tweeted that stuff out if they get fired.

 
And to see the flurry in posts from them this afternoon. I hope someone takes advantage of the secure ways to share info that Intercept, WaPo and others have offered.
