That's a bit different than what they were saying in the video. But like you said, each link you discovered was different by one or two words.I did a quick yahoo search - typed the first line... Each link is a little different - one or two words.
Dear Lord
in the battles as we go through life;
We ask for a field that's fair.
A chance that's equal to all in the strife;
The courage to do it or dare.
If we should win, let it be by the code;
With our faith and honor held high.
If we should lose, let us stand by the rules;
And cheer as the winners go by.
Day by day we get better and better;
A team that can't be beat, won't be beat.

I don't know maybe because we were GREAT then, and this is our return to GREATNESS!I love this but why is it being such a big deal now when it was brought up in 1997 with Grant W.?

That's correct. This chant actually first surfaced in the NU locker room sometime in the 1983 season. It actually began like this, but has been trimmed down a little bitI think the main reason is b/c its played at the beginning of the tunnel walk now, and to my knowledge wasnt during Wistrom's reign.I love this but why is it being such a big deal now when it was brought up in 1997 with Grant W.?
