Tunnel Walk Music

hey, my first post...

as a student, the tunnel walk is pretty sweet, but i think they can do better with the video aspect. i'd rather see some of our corn fed homeboys rolling over someone than the cheesy flying over the state and such.

but if the music had to be changed, my vote would be for "welcome to the jungle" by guns and roses

 
Actually one of the best sites ever was when the firemen and police officers came out of the tunnel the game preceeding the 9/11 attacks....anyone else there??

 
RATM - Bulls on Parade - There are several other Rage songs that might work even better with jacking a crowd up, but the beats in this one are pretty tight, and the whole "Rally round the family" is pretty appropriate.

Yeah youre right, there isnt a beach for miles so that wouldnt really apply. Damn. :)

I am all for changing it since as long as I can remember that was the theme for the then championship Chicago Bulls. They used to come out to that. I have no clue what to change it too. But obviously something that incites fear, and there are plenty of songs that do that. Maybe the band director can compose something instead of playing circus music like last years halftime show. That was gawd awful :steam

Should we change the tunnel walk music? If we didn't have Sirius by The Alan Parsons Project, what should we have? I am a traditionist and therefore believe that it should stay with Sirius. Having said that, if it wasn't that music, I like Thunderstruck by AC/DC....Share your thoughts and if not Sirius..then what?

We used to get pretty rowdy dancing to "Turkey in the Straw", but it's probably not considered "cool" enough anymore.
