Turner Gill: No women after 10 p.m.

“I am disappointed.” Gill said after getting beat 55-7. “We could never get anything going.” linky
It's almost like the KU guys were out of touch. And hadn't been laid in a month. Go figure.

I don't know who all watched but it Kansas just did not come out with any intensity or motivation at all. It was as if they were just going thru the motions.

that has got to be a tough rule to enforce! What if some of the players are married? That does happen in CFB. I understand that Gill is trying to clean up some dirt on the program, but you got to give the kids a little separation from football to enjoy college.

I was just wondering about the married players too..or the evil co-habitaters.

IT would mean more to the team if the coaches had to stay away from their wives/daughters/or Moms after 10, too.

Did he do this at Buffalo?

Probably related to why Babtists can't have sex while standing up..Someone might think they're dancing.

Good point. You know some of the players live with their girlfriends. Oh, I'm sure they just sleep on the couch or something. :LOLtartar

Turner is not making life any easier on himself with this, that's for sure. If the players aren't buying in, you have to wonder how on earth this will help.

Honest question, what if a football player is gay?
Good question and not just in relation to the thread context. How does Turner deal with this situation in general. Given that his faith is a strong component of his life, how does he deal with a player that is living (by his religious standards) an immoral lifestyle?

They probably get transfered to KSU.

On an totally unrelated tangent..Does Turner still have a daughter attending KU?

Maybe Bill McCartney had his ear??

They'll like Turner when if he ever wins. Until then they'll rip on anything they want.
fixed it for you.

just think about it. Coach who doesnt allow you to have a social life, a team that sucks. Probably not loading up on HS talent. Mangino had the most sucsessful recruiting classes ever in the last 2 years. And this team is awful. Also, starting next year they get a round robin schedule instead of keeping the current No TX & OU one they have this year. So it only gets harder to win, and chances of you getting good players drops. If KU doesnt make great strides this year, they are in real trouble.

Really... how many recruits are thinking, "No texting? No phone calls? No girls?.... No KU!"
