Turner Gill to Auburn?

I just got off the phone with Tigers Unlimited and our ticket office. I have resigned our priority and tickets that we have had since 1957.

I'm done giving those ardtards my money.

From another guy on an Auburn board. I could not agree more!

You'd think somewhere along the way someone would say "No, dude, seriously. Let's just hold off till after bowl season if that's the best we can come up with now."
This has taught me that on top of ignorance and foolishness, who ever's in charge of the Athletic Department at Auburn is also an old racist.

Looking at Gill's resume vs. Chizik's there is no possible way to spin one thing in favor of Chizik's over Gill's. One took a decent program and made them decline statistically in every category each year since he's been there including wins, failing to post over three in a season. The other took a program from rock bottom of D1 football and turned them into conference champions in essentially the same amount of time, winning more games each season he's been there. One would have united the fans with excitement and had a clear majority of fan support. Those who didn't have him as their #1 guy could at least see why he would be a good hire and would have gotten behind him. The other guy...you have the pitchforks and torches you see now.

Tell me. WHAT the frick is Chizik's advantage over Gill? The only thing that could have been perceived as an advantage by the old country bumpkin racist fricks is that his skin is white.

You know what, I say good for you. Alot of people on this board would argue over what constitutes loyalty to a school that you are a fan of. Whether or not you jump on or off the bandwagon, taking sides due to administrative moves that you do or don't agree with. That's one thing. This is another.

According to Bob Lee on ESPN's Outside the lines, someone close to the situation had two sources confirm that Turner would never ever be hired at Auburn, not because he is black, but because he is in an interracial marriage. It's good to know that this belief isn't shared by the Auburn fan base. Good luck to you in whoever you root for from here on out.

I will ALWAYS pull for my school but they will not prosper through my small amount of money as long as the current asshatery continues.

I hope Chizik is very successful. He may end up being. I don't blame him for cashing a winning lottery ticket. I blame our AD and others for not making the right choice.
